SANIpore® TFES Capsule Filters

Single-layer PTFE membranes with high airflow SANIpore® TFES Capsule Filters are used in a wide range of applications. Its membrane cartridge is used not only for sterilizing process gas applications but also for tank vents. This is the result of being validated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

This is due to the high airflow and low-pressure drop of these hydrophobic TFES filters.

Therefore, each cartridge module is individually manufactured using a water intrusion method for its integrity before release, in order to guarantee the quality of each PTF filter.

Capsule filters is a family of full-size capsule filters with Staubli connection at the vent, which enables in-line integrity test. The PTFE membrane bio-burden reduction capsule utilizes a single layer of hydrophobic PTFE membrane. It offers broad chemical compatibility, high flow rate and low extractables.

Common questions about Sanitek

Common Questions about SanitekWhat is Stery PTF filter material?

Stery Capsule filters is family of full size capsule filters with Staubli connection at the vent, which enables in-line integrity test. The PTFE membrane bio-burden reduction capsule utilizes single layer hydrophobic PTFE membrane. It offers broad chemical compatibility, high flow rate and low extractables.

Common Questions about SanitekWhat are Stery PTF Capsule PP filters used for?

Sanitek Stery PTF capsule filter with hydrophobic ePTFE membrane is suitable for applications such as sterile air feed, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and solvents. It has two ways for sanitation, which are autoclave and hot water.

Stery PTF filters are used in a wide range of applications. Its membrane cartridge is used not only for sterilizing process gas applications but also for tank vents. This is the result of being validated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

Common Questions about SanitekWhat is bio-burden?

The amount of contaminated microorganisms identified in a specific amount of material prior to sterilisation is known as the bioburden. Colony-forming units are used to measure bioburden levels (CFUs). These units provide an estimate of the quantity of live bacteria or fungi that can be discovered on a sample of a product.

The least amount of bioburden should be present when your medical equipment is put together or created since the less bioburden present, the simpler it will be to sterilise your product.

Common Questions about SanitekWhat is the difference between ePTFE and PTFE?

The most unique fluoropolymer, PTFE, performs best in terms of temperature, chemical resistance, and non-stick qualities.

Expanded PTFE (ePTFE) tube is ideal for any applications that call for a permeable material because it is microporous and air-permeable. As a result, ePTFE differs from traditional PTFE. The substance is supple and malleable, and when touched, it has the texture of a smooth, spongey marshmallow. Expanded PTFE is frequently employed as tubing, cord, and sealing tape.
