CSSM® Filter Cartridge

Stainless Steel Mesh Filter Cartridge for Pre-Filtration

SANITEK CSSM® filter cartridge is sintered from multiple layers of 316 or 304 stainless steel mesh, which has excellent pressure, temperature and corrosion resistance. It is a stainless steel cartridge with the best back-flushing effect.

Its high dirt-holding capacity makes the CSSM® filter cartridge the best choice for solid-liquid separation of liquids with rigid particles. A layers sintered mesh filter has a better back-flushing effect for rigid particles.

Common questions about Sanitek

Common Questions about SanitekWhat is the difference between PES and PVDF filter membranes?

The main difference lies in their chemical compatibility and filtration properties. PES (polyethersulfone) membranes offer excellent compatibility with a broad range of solvents, acids, and bases. They are known for their low protein binding and high flow rates.

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) membranes, on the other hand, have superior chemical resistance, making them suitable for aggressive solvents and strong acids. PVDF membranes also provide high protein binding capacity, making them ideal for protein-based applications. The choice between PES and PVDF depends on the specific requirements of the filtration process, including chemical compatibility and protein retention needs.
