SANIendo® NY

Single Layers Modified Positive-charged Nylon6,6 Membrane

SANIendo® NY series nylon pleated filter cartridge is made of lined hydrophilic nylon 6,6 membrane which can provide enhanced retention of fine particles smaller than the membrane rating, such as endotoxins in water.

It has excellent chemical compatibility and mechanical strength. After special cleaning steps, the filter membrane has low precipitation and no shedding. It can be widely used in the filtration of strong alkalis, weak acids and organic solvents. Due to its reasonable structure, SANIendo® NY offers a high flow rate, high flux and low extractability, available in particle and bioburden grade as well as sterile grade with low cost.

Common questions about Sanitek

Common Questions about SanitekWhat is the difference between PES and PVDF filter membranes?

The main difference lies in their chemical compatibility and filtration properties. PES (polyethersulfone) membranes offer excellent compatibility with a broad range of solvents, acids, and bases. They are known for their low protein binding and high flow rates.

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) membranes, on the other hand, have superior chemical resistance, making them suitable for aggressive solvents and strong acids. PVDF membranes also provide high protein binding capacity, making them ideal for protein-based applications. The choice between PES and PVDF depends on the specific requirements of the filtration process, including chemical compatibility and protein retention needs.
