Ultrapure PP (polypropylene) capsule filters are commonly used for various filtration applications. They are especially suitable for tasks such as general sample preparation, fine filtration, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, microfiltration, and pre-filtration. Ultrapure PP capsule filters exhibit excellent particle retention, high flow rates, and compatibility with a wide range of chemicals.
Ultrapure capsule filter with polypropylene media is suitable for applications such as bottled water, vinegar, aqueous solutions, beer, wine and spirits, juice, soft drinks, edible oils, bulk chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates. It has two different ways to sterilize, which are autoclave and hot water.
All materials meet the specifications for biological safety per USP Class V1-121 C for plastics. Materials of construction comply with FDA regulations for food and beverage contact use as detailed in the US Code of Federal Regulations, 21CFR. Materials used to produce filter media and hardware are safe for use in contact with foodstuffs in accordance with EU Directives 10/2011.
